DescriptionSubjects include floodwaters in Bushnell Park, the Connecticut State Capitol, Fire Department pumping water from the electric company on Ann Street, the Gas Works, a view of the Connecticut River and the Bulkeley Bridge from Travelers Tower, a Coast Guard cutter at the bridge, stranded automobiles, a home in South Glastonbury, a flooded factory, the Hotel Bond, Morgan Street, refugees, the Old State House as a port of refuge, the Middletown-Portland bridge, Temple Street, the South Meadow Plant of the Hartford Electric Light Company, Hartford without electricity, the corner of Elm and Hudson Street, Jewell Street, washed out road, washed out railroad tracks.
