DescriptionCommercial buildings line the north side of Pratt Street in Hartford, Connecticut. A five-story brick Italianate building located at 32-36 Pratt is in the foreground. The first floor is housed by "The O'Connor Coal and Supply Co." at 32 Pratt and "New England Furriers" at 36 Pratt. An entrance at to the "Louis N. Perrault Ostrich Feather Dye Works" on the second floor at 34 Pratt is between the two businesses. "Bassewitch and Glotzer Manufacturing Farmers", an extension of "New England Furriers", also occupies the second floor at 34 Pratt Street. To the west is a building housing the "Kavanaugh" clothing store. An automobile is in the foreground.
