DescriptionWoman's morning sacque of plain white cotton. The sacque opens for the entire length of the center front and fastens with four widely-spaced mother of pearl buttons. The collar is 3 1/2 inches wide, and is stitched all around with tucks, which are released mid-way, so that the collar has a flounced effect. It is edged with eyelet embroidery. The center front button placket is flanked on each side with four vertical tucks. The shoulderline is at the natural height. The sleeves are gathered at the shoulder, and around the wrist openings with a 1 3/4-inch-wide self-fabric ruffle, stitched with three tucks. The back of the sacque is constructed with princess seaming. The bottom edge of the sacque is ruffled like the sleeves.
