DescriptionA girl sits in a wicker rocking chair. She wears a dress, and a teddy bear stands on the floor next to her. The bear is wearing wool sweater which appears to have been knitted by hand. A cut-glass bowl and vases are on a sideboard behind the girl. Cups and plates are displayed in a china cabinet in the background.

NotesSubject Note: The same girl appears in 1995.36.1641. (Agins 8/8/2013) Subject Note: The girl is presumably Muriel Armstrong. She appears sitting in the same chair in 1995.36.1573. Muriel Armstrong was born June 25, 1914. She was the daughter of David F. Armstrong and Helen Armstrong. The Armstrong family home was in Groton, Connecticut. (Finlay 11/20/2013)
