DescriptionAn elderly bald man and a young woman stand in the interior of a room, apparently a kitchen. The man's right hand is on the woman's shoulder and she raises her left hand to ward him off. He wears a jacket, vest, shirt, and stock. She wears a plaid cap and dress with a separate bodice and striped skirt. Plates, a large jar, and a jug are on shelves behind them. A two-handled crock is on a table at the left.
