DescriptionA horse-drawn milk delivery wagon stands in an open area. The front of the wagon has a sign that reads "No 11". The side of the wagon reads "License 1" and "The Bryant & Chapman Co Milk and Cream". Another similar delivery wagon, an automobile, and a residential neighborhood are in the background. No horses are present.
NotesSubject Note: The Bryant & Chapman Company, wholesale and retail dealers in milk, was founded in 1896 by Willard M. Chapman. Bert Chapman joined the firm a year later. In 1914, the company was located at the corner of Woodland Street and Homestead Avenue. (Finlay 10/19/2013)
