DescriptionA truck is parked on a city street, probably in Hartford. A man sits in the driver's seat of the truck and holds the steering wheel. The man is dressed in a suit and wears a bowler hat. The following sign is attached to the truck: "BUILT FOR HARD SERVICE / 1 1/4 Ton Koehler / At An ATTRACTIVE PRICE / W. HECTOR 226 PEARL ST. HARTFORD". The truck has the license plate over its front bumper: CONN X 334 1917" and this logo on the side of its hood "Koehler 1 1/4 Ton Truck".
NotesSubject Note: Wilfred Hector opened a dealership for the sale of Koehler trucks at 226 Sheldon Street, Hartford, in 1917. Koehler trucks were manufactured in Newark, New Jersey from 1910 to 1923. (Finlay 10/18/2013)
