DescriptionBust-length miniature of a man with dark brown hair and blue eyes. He is wearing a white shirt, a black stock, black waistcoat, and navy blue jacket. The miniature is in wooden paper-covered case with gilt decoration.
Label TextHenry Lewis Miller was a successful lawyer, Quarter Master General of the State of Connecticut, major of Governor's Foot Guard, and judge of the Hartford City Court. He died in 1861and is buried with his wife and children in the Hartford Old North Cemetery.
