DescriptionA door with pilaster strips and transom light over it is on the gable end of a two and a half story house. The gable end has a deep overhang with brackets beneath it. The house has a brick chimney and a small added lean at the back. It is surrounded by a grassy lawn and a path, apparently dirt, leads to the entrance. A line of fence posts is at the right. The street is below and to the left, with additional buildings, trees, and a field.
NotesDate Note: The drawing was not reproduced in Whitefield's book, Homes of our Forefathers (1882) but the paper is identical to that used for preliminary drawings for that book, so it appears likely that it was made at the same time. (Finlay 11/30/2013)Status
