DescriptionBust-length miniature portrait of a woman with blue eyes, pale complexion, and brown hair. She is wearing a white cap with open work, trimmed with lace and blue ribbon bows. A blue ribbon bow also ties at her neck under her chin. The woman is also wearing a white pelerine, a blue shawl which drapes over her left shoulder, and a black dress. Miniature is encased in a rectangular wooden case covered with red leather with two brass hooks and leather hinges. Inside of case is lined with white satin cushion.
