DescriptionSubjects include two different fairs and a horse-drawn parade float. The float flies what appears to be a thirteen-star American flag. Women in white dresses are seated on the float. In two other photographs, booths line the interior of a large barrel-vaulted hall. Booths display a wide variety of articles, presumably merchandise being offered for sale. Three women at at the right of one photograph. In another photograph, cakes and pastries are displayed in a glass case. Other displays appear to include flowers and textiles. All photographs were taken by Hartford photographers and it seems likely all or most of the fairs took place in Hartford.
