DescriptionInterior and exterior views of Hartford buildings, including Trinity College, Hartford Public High School, the Young Men's Christian Association, Saint Francis Hospital, the State Capitol, the Old State House, and the Asylum for the Deaf and Dumb. One photograph shows the interior of the wool house of H. C. Judd & Co. Another shows the interior of the store of Covey & Smith. Views of factories include one of Pratt & Whitney Insurance companies include the Aetna Life Insurance Company, the Two Hartfords, the City Fire Insurance Company, and Travelers Insurance Company. A brick saw-mill may be the saw mill located at Dutch Point. One photographs shows the Mark Twain house, apparently shortly after the house was completed.

NotesDate Note: Some stereo views, taken by Burton E. Moore, Jr. during the 1930s, were published in the Hartford Courant. They had to be cut out and mounted on cardboard before they could be viewed in a stereoscope. Moore described them as "Depthphotos."
