DescriptionPhotographs of Meriden and West Meriden include the residence of O. H. Platt, the Meriden Woollen Mill, a view of a dirt road, a view at the City Reservoir showing the gate and watchman's house, a Methodist church, another church, railroad cars in front of the Meriden Britannia Company, the ruins of the Meriden Britannia Company following the fire of July 16, 1870, general views of the city. The Hanging Hills are visible in the background of one view.
