DescriptionMen, women, boys, and girls pose in bathing suits on a beach. Two women wear bathing caps. One man has a sweater draped around his shoulders. One elderly man has a mustache. Additional bathers are in the water at the right and on the beach in the background. Steps lead up to a building, possibly a pavilion,on a rocky point with young trees growing on it.
NotesSubject Note: Estella Lay Colton was the daughter of the Hartford photographer, Horace E. Lay. She was married to Herbert S. Colton, also of Hartford.
