The state is divided into counties, labeled, hand-colored and delineated with broken solid lines, and towns, labeled and marked with dotted lines. Population centers appear to be marked with clusters of small dots. Elevation is depicted with hachure marks. Rivers, lakes and ponds, points, harbors and islands are depicted and most of them are labeled.
