DescriptionMap of the state of Connecticut, with the border of Massachusetts to the north, Rhode Island to the east, Long Island and the Long Island Sound to the south, and New York to the west. Connecticut is divided into counties, marked with dotted lines and labeled. Town centers are denoted with little drawings that probably represent town halls or meeting places. The Connecticut, Five Mile, Sagatuck (Saugatuck), Sasco, Stratford (Housatonic), Naugatic (Naugatuck), Shepaug, Windsor, Hammonasset, Quinnabaug, and New Thames (Thames) Rivers are depicted. Several lakes or ponds are shown but not labeled.
