DescriptionBust length miniature portrait on mahogany of a man facing slightly to his right. He has blue eyes and graying hair with short bangs and long hair that falls into curls just above left shoulder. He wears a light gray buttoned jacket with a standing collar, a white stock and waist coat with lapels and a standing collar. Miniature is set in a black painted wooden frame with a brass border around image and a floral design a top center of frame with suspension ring. Image is secured into frame by metal clips. Handwritten on back of portrait in pencil, "Gen Jed Huntington /by /Col J Trumbull". Frame is set in a tan, leather bound wooden case with metal hooks on the top, bottom; inner lining of case is a blue velvet material.
