DescriptionJigsaw puzzle in box sold by G. Fox & Co., Currier & Ives prints, titled "Husking". Wooden jigsaw puzzle in box.

Base of box is off-white, with a blue lid. Across center of lid is a silver company logo, with the image of a building within a circle; printed across, “100 Years / A CENTURY OF CONNECTICUT LIVING / 1847 G. FOX & CO. 1947”. Printed below logo, in silver, “G. FOX & CO. / HARTFORD CONNECTICUT”. Bottom edge of box has faint silver text with a black stamp of the puzzles title, reading “HUSKING”; printed across in silver, “TITLE / CURRIER & IVES / Jig-Saw Picture Puzzle / Over 200 pieces / Prints supplied through courtesy / TRAVELERS INSURANCE COMPANY / Hartford, Connecticut / No. 240 Made by JOSEPH K. STRAUS Brooklyn, N. Y.”.

Bottom of box has a white price sticker, printed across in black, "G. Fox & Co., Inc.", stamped in purple below, "C7/64 /240 /OS /$1.29". Puzzle pieces are three layers of plywood, possibly hand carved and laminated.
NotesObject Note: Puzzle is partially put together in box. Base of box has one torn corner and lid is faded and torn in places.
