DescriptionChippendale chairs surround a large dining table. An electric chandelier hangs from the ceiling. A large oriental rug is on the floor. An enclosed porch or sunroom is in the background, accessed through three arches wich are echoed in arched windows or French doors in the other room. The room has a tiled floor and has chairs, a small table, and a potted plant in it.
NotesSubject Note: The home of Morris Joseloff at 59 Sycamore Road, West Hartford, Connecticut was designed by the architectural firm Ebbets & Frid in 1930. Joseloff had one of the most important private art collections in Connecticut. Some of his paintings are visible in some of the photographs of the interiors of his house. (Finlay 9/20/2012)
