DescriptionWorld War II military award pin. Three rectangular award ribbons, side by side, fixed to one metal pin, only one green pin-back remains. Each award is a piece of cloth with a plastic covering over it. The first award is a World War II Victory Medal ribbon, on each side are assorted sized vertical stripes of white, purple, blue, green, yellow, orange, and red. At the center is a thick pink vertical stripe with a service star attached. The second award is an American Campaign Medal ribbon, which has assorted sized blue, white, black, and pink vertical stripes. The final award is an Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal ribbon, which has vertical yellow, white, pink, and blue, assorted sized stripes, with a service star attached at the center.
NotesObject Note: The World War II victory medal ribbon along with the American Campaign medal ribbon were awarded to those who served in the United States Armed Forces between 1941 and 1946. Attached gold service stars acknowledge service in combat.
