DescriptionConvention badge consisting of button, ribbon, and metal medallion. Rectangular button at the top has a gold metal frame, with a paper name tag, typed "D. DeLucco / Alternate Conn." Attached is a light burgundy colored ribbon, in gold lettering reads, "23RD NATIONAL / CONVENTION / ITALIAN / AMERICAN / WORLD WAR / VETERANS / OF THE U.S. INC. / PROVIDENCE, R.I. / AUG. 29 - 30 - 31 / SEPT. 1 / 1958". Attached to the bottom of the ribbon is a circular, brass medallion, at the center is an image of an anchor, above which reads "HOPE". Arround the edge of the medallion reads, "SEAL OF THE STATE OF RHODE ISLAND AND PROVIDENCE PLANTATIONS 1636".
