DescriptionConvention badge with pin-back, ribbon, and medallion. Brass pin in relief reads, "DELEGATE". Attached is a American patriotic ribbon with red, white, and blue vertical stripes. Attached at the bottom of this is a brass medallion, in relief at the middle is an image of the state capital building, below reads, "SEPT. 1946". Around border, "10th ANNUAL CONVENTION / HARTFORD THE INSURANCE CITY / NATIONAL DEPT." At bottom is a United States seal with a star at the center reading, "US" around it is a blue border, and in gold reads, "ITALIAN-AMERICAN WORLD WAR / VETERANS". On the back of medallion is a semi-circle business logo, "THE WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. / NEWARK, N.J."
