DescriptionConvention badge with pin-back, ribbon, and button. Rectangular, metal pin at top has gold trim with white celluloid center, with "DELEGATE" typed across it in green. Attached is a ribbon with red, white, and green vertical stripes. Through it in gold reads, "FIRST / ANNUAL / CONVENTION / WATERBURY, / CONN." The bottom of the ribbon goes to a point, and has a metal hook attached, which holds a white circle button with a green trim. Printed around the edge of the button in green, "I.A.W.W.V. / DEPT. OF CONN." and through the center in green, "Sept. 28-29, 1935". Along the left edge of the button is a sticky section probably from a sticker that was previously removed. On the back is a paper insert wich reads along the edge "THE SCHWERDTLE STAMP CO. / BRIDGEPORT, CONN." printed through the middle, "Badges, / Buttons & / Emblems".
