DescriptionThree piece ribbon, two ribbons stitched back-to-back at top and bottom with smaller ribbon and button attached to front side. Front ribbon has green, white, and red vertical lines, towards bottom, in gold reads, "SOCIETA' / MARIA SS. / DI / MONTE CARMELO / EAST HARTFORD, CONN." Bottom of ribbon has gold trim with multiple thin metal coils attached. Sewn to the top is a smaller, white ribbon with a circular button attached which has an ornate brass frame, and celluloid center. The celluloid center has a colored illustration of Saint Maria of Monte Carmelo, and her child. The back ribbon made of black cloth has a silver cross in the center surrounded by a silver wreath. Above cross reads, "IN MEMORIAM", below, "SOCIETA' / MARIA SS. / DI / MONTE CARMELO / EAST HARTFORD, CONN." Sewn between the two ribbons is a white, paper tag, printed in blue reads, "De Caro & D'Angelo Co. / INCORPORATED / UNIFORMS, FLAGS / BANNERS & BADGES / 169 & 171 Grand St., N.Y. / ORDER No." on the back, in purple are the numbers "4 1 4 8 2".
