DescriptionPair of woman's clogs, with hinged wooden soles. The square-shaped toe is covered in leather, and the back of the heel is also leather. These leather pieces are nailed to the wooden sole. The leather backs have ear-shaped extensions with holes for ties. The soles are cut in three pieces: across the ball of the foot, which is hinged with a piece of leather and nailed down under brass strips; the narrow waist of the sole is also cut, but is not hinged; it is reinforced with a metal plate, screwed down. The bottom of the sole has leather nailed onto the heel and under the ball and toes of the foot.
