DescriptionCommemorative, silk World War II United Sates Navy pillowcase. Case has a bright yellow, woven border with fringe. Front of case has pink, blue, and yellow images of naval ships, an aircraft, and a bald eagle perched atop a patriotic-style shield. At center, ropes that form two ovals, one within the other with a pink rose on each side, the image of a naval ship in the middle. Below this is a blue banner, printed across, "OUR NAVY AMERICA'S GUARDIAN"; attached is an anchor and across reads, "USN". Back of case is blue silk cloth, which has an opening at the bottom. There is some red and yellow staining on front and back material.
