DescriptionDouble sided silk Italian flag. Woven across in three colors, green, white, and red. Green edge has four red, white, and green tags sewn along border. Embroidered on one side of flag, with metallic threads, "SOCIETA' / MARIA SS. DI MONTE CARMELO / EAST HARTFORD, CONN.". Embroidered in the center of the opposite side with metallic threads is a partial wreath with a star at the top, a red bow at the base, and clasped hands in the middle. Stitched aross top of flag, "FONDATA 3 NOVEMBRE 1935". There is a coral tag attached to upper corner of red panel, printed in black on one side, "194/07", printed across other side, "PAT. PENDING / PTD. IN U.S.A. MMM".
