DescriptionUniversal Coffee Pot made by Landers, Frary & Clark of New Britain, CT consisting of pot, lid, pewter, and basket.
(.a) Silver coffee pot with rounded base and top. Black plastic handle on one side and silver spout on the opposite. Electircal outlet with two metal prongs is at the base, directly below handle. Inner portion of pot is tarnished with a small hole at the bottom center. Bottom of pot is removable, with one screw at center and three black, rubber nubs around edges. Engraved across bottom, "UNIVERSAL / MADE BY / LANDERS, FRARY, & CLARK / NEW BRITAIN, CONN. / VOLTS 110/120 / No EA-4284 WATTS 350 / REMOVEABLE BASE / TO REPLACE / FUSE PLUG / DON'T PUT IN WATER / UL".
(.b) Round silver and glass lid. Silver border and glass center which curves upwards and is topped with a grooved, chipped knob.
(.c) Thin, round, metal pewter that attaches to basket. Center is indented with multiple grooved holes.
(.d) Thin metal basket that sits in coffee pot has tiny holes all around sides. A rod protrudes from the center and connects the basket with its base. Base is smaller than the basket and metal is more tarnished.
