DescriptionLarge paintings of American flags are installed in front of G. Fox & Co. department store windows. A sign, "G. FOX & CO." and front doors of store are at the right. A man wearing a hat stands in front of the doors. Three young women stand in front of one flag painting. Two other men stand on the sidewalk; one of them is leaning on a utility pole between a fire hydrant and a "No Parking" sign. The store name also appears on the marquee. Venetian blinds are visible in the windows above the marquee.
NotesSubject Note: Paintings were displayed in front of the G. Fox store windows to celebrate the end of World War II in August 1945.
