DescriptionPortraits of men wearing military uniforms. Most are full-length or half-length portraits. One is a bust-length portrait. Some men wear caps or hold swords. Props, including pedestals, balustrades, and tables appear in some photographs. One photograph includes a fluted column on a high base and drapery.

NotesSubject Note: The soldiers' identities are not known, but they probably came from the New Haven area. All of the photographers were taken by New Haven photographers. (Finlay 5/16/2012)
