DescriptionPortrait of an older woman seated with her head turned to her left. Both of her hands are on her lap, and her right elbow is resting on a table with a floral tablecloth on it.
NotesSubject Note: An inscription suggests that this woman was the wife of Private Nathan L. Bishop of Sprague, Connecticut, although she appears to be a generation older and may actually be his mother. (Ruocco 5/5/2012)
