NotesSubject Note: Augustus Adams was from Wethersfield, Connecticut. He enlisted on October 5, 1861. He was mustered in to the Tenth Regiment Infantry Company C on October 22, 1861 as a Private. He was wounded on December 14, 1862 in Kinston, North Carolina. He re-enlisted on January 1, 1864 and was promoted on February 13, 1864 to Corporal. He was wounded on May 14, 1864 in Drewry's Bluff, Virginia. He was reduced to ranks on November 21, 1864, and he was mustered out on August 25, 1865. (Ruocco, 04/24/2012)
