NotesSubject Note: William H. Webster was from Hartford, Connecticut. He enlisted on July 10, 1861. On July 22, 1861 he was mustered into the Fifth Regiment Infantry, Company I as a Second Lieutenant. He was Promoted on August 9, 1862. He resigned on April 16, 1863. He was mustered into the Regiment Veteran Reserve Corps as a first Lieutenant in January, 1864. He was transfered to the Twenty-second Regiment Veteran Reserve Corps on August 15, 1865.
