NotesSubject Note: Henry E. Blakeslee of Hartford enlisted in the Twelfth Connecticut Volunteer Infantry on November 13 1861 and was mustered in as a corporal on November 20 1861. He was promoted to first lieutenant in the Seventy-sixth United States Colored Infantry on March 6 1863 and to Captain on January 20 1865. He resigned on July 20 1865. (Finlay 4/20/2012)Status
