NotesSubject Note: Jesse Wilkinson of Norwich enlisted on July 12 1862 and was mustered in as a sergeant in the Eighteenth Connecticut Volunteer Infantry on August 15 1862. He was captured on June 15 1863 and paroled on July 14 1863. On March 16 1864 he was promoted to Captain of Company A, Forty-third United States Colored Infantry. He was discharged on October 20 1865.
