DescriptionWoman's corset cover of white cotton. The neckline is low and square in front and round at back. Three inches below the neckline, the front is inset with a square. This inset consists of gathered self-fabric, with insertions of bobbin lace. The neckline and armhole edges are trimmed with bobbin lace. The shoulder straps are made of the lace insertion, which continues up the sides of the neckline inset, over the shoulders, and around the back. The corset cover is fitted with double princess seams, front and back. The bottom edge is bound with self-fabric, stitched on the bias. The center front opening fastens with six mother of pearl buttons, with the top three widely spaced and the bottom three closely spaced.
