DescriptionPhotograph album of amateur snapshots of East Hampton. Many photographs depict the Skinner homestead and Skinner farm and include farm buildings, cows, oxen, sheep, chickens, and ducks. Cats, a dog, and a small girl appear in several photographs. Some photographs show the Skinner house and what are presumably the Skinner gardens. Numerous photographs show views on Lake Pocotopaug, including Schoolhouse Bay and Lakeview Cemetery. One photograph shows what appears to be a summer cottage in the winter. Several photographs document the process of charcoal burning. Several photographs depict the aftermath of an ice storm. Two photographs show a Fourth of July parade in East Hampton. One photograph shows a railroad train on a trestle on the Airline Railroad.
