DescriptionBentwood chairs and other wooden chairs are arranged around tavern tables in the interior of a room. Books and a shelf clock are on the mantlepiece. Andirons and logs are in the fireplace. Tankards are on the tables. Framed pictures are on the walls. Signs read "EGGS on TOAST" "GOLDEN BUCKS" "WELSH RAREBIT" "SARDINES". Baseball bats are displayed above a carved tabletop on the right wall. A chandelier, apparently a gas chandelier, hangs from the ceiling.

NotesSujbect Note: Mory's, also known as Mory's Temple Bar, is a private club located adjacent to the Yale campus on Temple Street in New Haven. The club was founded in 1849; the building was erected before 1817. Membership is now open to Yale students, faculty and staff. (Finlay 4/5/2012)
