DescriptionAn Italinate frame house has a squarae tower and a central gable above a Palladian window. Shrubs grow beside the porch, which is supported by paired columns. A grassy lawn is in the foreground. An automobile is parked in a paved driveway at the left.
NotesSubject Note: The house at 1010 Asylum Avenue was built about 1855 by Erastus Collins and lived in subsequently by Atwood Collins and Hamilton Scranton and his wife Emily Collins (Hamersley). The house was torn down in 1940 by National Fire Insurance Company. (Ruocco, 03/24/2012)
