DescriptionView from an elevated vantage point, probably the upper story of a house, of a formal garden. Parterres are arranged around a small circular flower bed, in a regular symmetrical design. Beds have contrasting borders and include different colored herbs or flowers. The entire garden is surrounded by a fence or wall. The back wall is lined with small trees, apparently fruit trees.
NotesSubject Note: This is presumably the home of John Allen and his wife. (Finlay 3/27/2012)
