DescriptionBust-lenght portrait of a young man wearing a jacket, a shirt with a high collar, and a necktie tied in a large bow.

The mat has what appears to be grapes and leaves around the edges. The dark green pad has an embossed design depicting an urn. The case has a cartouche enclosing a vase of flowers surrounded by leaves on both front and back covers.
NotesSubject Note: Ogden S. Hammersley was the son of William James Hammersley and the older brother of Judge William Hammersley. Ogden Hammersley was born in 1833 and died 17 December 1853. (Finlay 3/8/2012)
