DescriptionFold-over type pocketbook of linen canvas covered with wool cross stitching in a pattern of multi-colored diamonds within a dark green grid. Predominant colors are coral, pink, dark red, light blue, and dark blue. The purse opens to reveal two compartments on each side, with accordian-folded silk sides. The divider between the compartments is interlined with card stock. The lining fabric is a shot blue/purple silk, with a woven design of interlaced lines. The edges are bound with green silk ribbon. The center of the purse interior is stitched with a line of pink herringbone stitches.
