DescriptionWoman's purse of canvaswork, worked with wool in a vertically striped design of overlapping diamonds in shades of blue, green and blue, and shades of coral with white. The spaces in between are purple. The bottom has a border of olive green and white horizontal sawtooth stripes. A triangular flap covers the top opening; it fastens with a clear glass button. The front top edge is stiffened with a strip of metal. The purse flap is lined with pale olive green silk with woven orange stripes. The body of the purse is lined with pink twill-woven silk. The carrying handle is a twisted green, olive, and pale pink wool cord.
