DescriptionA young woman wearing a sweaterm skirt, and hat holds a pennant on a stick. The girl's skirt, pennant, and hat have pieces of silk overlaid. A shield with stars and stripes is in the upper left corner. Three grapevines, a banner with words "QUI TRANSTULIT SUSTINET" and the word "CONNECTICUT" are in the upper right corner.
Label TextThe sprightly young woman on this postcard was evidently intended to represent the State of Connecticut and was undoubtedly part of a series of cards with figures representing the different states issued by Curt Teich & Co. of Chicago around 1910. A version of the Connecticut State Seal appears in the upper right hand corner of this card.
