DescriptionGroup portrait of children, both boys and girls, sitting and standing on risers posing for a class photograph. Four women are sitting with the children, probably teachers. Most all of the boys are wearing yarmulkes.
A sign propped up at the front of the group reads: "SOLOMON \ SCHECHTER DAY \SCHOOL \ KINDERGARTEN \ LINDA JUDY \ SOLLY EILEEN\ 1994".
NotesDate Note: Harney & Sons began in 1970 in Salisbury, Connecticut. They moved their headquarters just over the boarder to New York in 2003. This tin is likely not from the beginning of the business in 1970, but with the location of "Salisbury, CT" on the label is definitely prior to their 2003 move.
