DescriptionThree-quarter-length portrait of a man in military uniform seated in a chair. He has a mustache and holds a sword. A gun is in a holster on his belt, which has a buckle with an eagle on it. He wears a ring on the little finger of his left hand.
NotesSubject Note: Frank P. Blair was both a soldier and politician. During the Civil War, he helped lead forces which kept Missouri from leaving the Union. Following the war, he was active in Democratic politics and was the candidiate for Vice President with Andrew Johnson in 1868.
