DescriptionReproduction of a painting signed by A. Muller-Ury that shows the Madonna and child. The painting is in a large, elaborate frame and appears to be propped up on an easel.
NotesConstituent Note: A. Muller-Ury, the signature on the painting, refers to Adolfo Muller-Ury (1862-1947), a Swiss-American painter. He was most known for his portraits and impressionistic paintings of roses and still lifes. Some of his famous sitters included President McKinley, General Ulysses S. Grant, Theodore Roosevelt and many members of New York's elite.
