DescriptionA pair of drawstring bags, one large and one small, made of a high-quality eighteenth century block-printed cotton fabric. The print design is of flowering branches with red roses and other red and blue flowers. The green for the leaves is printed blue over yellow. The branches are brown and yellow. This is probably a French fabric. The smaller bag was probably for holding the thimble or other such small sewing items.
