DescriptionTiny figures representing a Puritan family are in a small diorama labeled "THEN." Small dolls in the costumes of different nations are arranged on a box labeled "NOW." A sign above reads "AMERICANS ALL." A larger, all encompassing sign reads "THANKSGIVING." Farm produce including milk and butter are displayed on the table in the foreground. Vegetables, including beets, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions are on small plates. A cauliflower and a pumpkin are at the right. Jars of jelly and preserves are at the left. Hydrangeas and other flowers are in vases. A sign in the left foreground reads "Redding / Redding, Conn." A large advertising sign in the background reads "ENJOY MOHICAN / DELICIOUS COFFEE AND / BAKED GOODS."
