DescriptionMen and women stand in front of a structure with a sign that reads: "Airport / Entrance." Figures of a bucking horse and a buffalo are on the roof. Pennants fly from the roof. Several of the people appear to be African American. Some wear eyeglasses or sunglasses.
NotesSubject Note: The Danbury Fair was an annual exhibition held in Danbury between 1821 and 1981. At first a traditional agricultural fair, the event later included large fiberglass sculptures, stock car racing, and amusement park rides. The former fairground is now (2011) the site of the Danbury Fair Mall. (Finlay 3/25/2011)
